Privacy statement

Original statement: 15 February 2019 · Website-specific updates: 13 October 2026

Commitment

ECONSULTA SRL (hereinafter sometimes referred to as ‘the Company’) is committed to protecting the confidentiality and privacy of information entrusted to it, including but not limited to the use of personal data. To this end, the Company will only process personal data for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and we will not process personal data further in a way that is incompatible with those purposes.

This purpose can be the execution of a contract, the improvement of your visit on this website or another website which is related to ECONSULTA SRL, the improvement of the Company's products and services more generally, the offering of services or applications, marketing communications and actions, web personalisation, direct marketing, web analytics, etc., where applicable and subject to the relevant legal basis and consent requirements.

The purpose of each processing of personal data will be clearly defined in this Privacy Statement or a more specific privacy notice that will be accessible, for example, on a website, an application, an electronic newsletter, etc.

Storage

The Company may store personal data in a jurisdiction other than where the related person or the Company is based, including outside of the European Economic Area (EEA). Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, ECONSULTA SRL will apply the safeguards required by applicable data protection law. Providing personal data online does not, by itself, constitute consent to an international transfer.

Collection And Processing

The Company obtains personal data when people choose to make it available through business interactions. The website hosting service also processes technical request information needed to serve the site, and optional analytics information is collected only with consent.

Many times this involves the person using a form, whether physical or electronic, or contacting ECONSULTA SRL directly. In some cases, the person may have provided his/her personal data to ECONSULTA SRL by other means, for example by giving a business card to one of the owners, management, staff or any other associated entity of the Company, or by asking them to learn more about the person from a profile on social media, another website or some printed or electronic means.

The personal data that the Company collects also depends on the privacy settings the person may have set with their social media providers, and it is the person's responsibility to review and understand the privacy statements or policies of the applicable services.

The applicable legislation allows the Company to process personal data, so long as there are legal grounds to do so. These grounds can be any of the following:

ECONSULTA SRL only collects special categories of personal data where there is a valid legal basis and an applicable condition for processing them. Special categories include data about racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, trade union membership, religious or philosophical beliefs, health, genetics, biometrics, and sex life or sexual orientation. Please do not provide such information unless it is necessary and appropriate to do so.

Consent

Where the Company relies on consent to process personal data, the person will be asked for that consent for the specified purpose and may withdraw it. Providing contact information does not constitute consent to unrelated uses, such as optional website analytics.

Sharing Of Personal Data

The Company will not share personal data with unaffiliated third parties except as necessary for our legitimate professional and business needs, to carry out your requests, and/or as required or permitted by law or professional standards. The Company will not transfer the personal data you provide to any third parties for their own direct marketing use. In some instances, the Company may share personal data with various outside companies or service providers or vendors working on its behalf.

The Company only shares personal data that allows them to provide their services. If the Company is reorganised or sold to another organisation, ECONSULTA SRL may also disclose personal data in connection with the sale, assignment, or other transfer of the business to which the data relates.

The Company may disclose personal data in order to respond to requests of courts, tribunals, government or law enforcement agencies or where it is necessary or prudent to comply with applicable laws, court or tribunal orders or rules, or government regulations.

The Company may also be required to disclose personal data if required for data privacy or security audits and/or to investigate or respond to a complaint or security threat.

Contacting The Company

This website does not provide a contact form or live chat. The “Discuss a challenge” link opens an external LinkedIn profile. If you choose to contact ECONSULTA through LinkedIn, LinkedIn processes information under its own privacy terms. Correspondence subsequently received by ECONSULTA may be kept in its business systems to handle your enquiry.

Automatic Collection Of Personal Data

On this website, necessary technical information may be processed to deliver and secure the site. Optional analytics cookies and similar technologies are used only if you consent, as described below. Other correspondence with the Company may be subject to different processing arrangements.

With consent, analytics helps the Company understand website use and improve the performance, usability and effectiveness of its online presence.

This website is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting. With your consent, ECONSULTA uses Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and interactions and improve the website. Analytics is not loaded before consent, and rejecting it does not restrict access to the website. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising or remarketing. Your analytics preference is stored in your browser’s local storage; analytics cookies may be set only after you accept. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time by selecting Change analytics preferences. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics collection in this browser; it does not automatically erase data already processed.

Google Analytics may use cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish browsers and maintain visit information. Their usual lifespan is up to two years, subject to Google’s settings and changes. ECONSULTA has configured GA4 event-level and user-level data retention to two months; this does not necessarily limit the lifetime of cookies or aggregated reports. Consent choices are saved locally in the browser until changed or browser storage is cleared.
